ECaBox kick off
Consortium
September 3, 2021
On September 2-3, 2021, the ECaBox consortium meets virtually to officially kick off the project activities.
During two packed mornings, project partners go through the goals and aims of each of the six work packages that will lead, in 4 years time, to the full development of a device for the exploration of regenerative treatments in human eyeballs.
Preliminary work done by the teams in the field, planned tasks and technical expertises are discussed during the assembly with the purpose of getting everyone on the same page. The ECaBox crew attending the gathering is in fact a multidisciplinary pool of researchers, clinicians and engineers united by a common goal: establish a pioneering method to bring eyes back to life from deceased body donors for clinical research purposes.
